The Edelweiss hotel complex with a capacity of up to 216 people was opened on the territory of the Veduchi all-season tourist and recreational complex (VTRK) in the Chechen Republic, the press service of the Resorts of the North Caucasus company reported on Monday.

"The Edelweiss hotel complex on the territory of Veduchi VTRK in the Chechen Republic is 100% operational and ready to receive guests. 86 rooms with a capacity of up to 216 people of different comfort levels are available for guests of the resort - from compact economy class rooms to superior standard rooms, deluxe rooms and apartments. In particular, two rooms are equipped for accommodation of low-mobility tourists," the message says. The complex includes a restaurant with 100 seats, a lobby bar, and a children's playroom.

"There is also an entertainment and wellness area with a swimming pool, sauna, gym, billiard room and table tennis. The cost of living in a standard room is 2000 rubles per day for single occupancy, 2500 rubles for double occupancy," the press service noted.

The hotel is located a few dozen meters from the ski infrastructure facilities. The complex got its name in honor of the mountain flower of Edelweiss, which became a symbol of the opening ceremony of the resort in January this year.

The Veduchi ski resort in the mountains of Chechnya opened on January 26. A chairlift with a length of more than 800 m has been launched at the resort, as well as a track with a length of about 1 km of green difficulty category (for beginners). By 2021, it is planned to build more than 15.4 km of ski slopes and six lifts on the territory of the Veduchi complex. According to the state program "Development of the North Caucasus Federal District", designed for the period up to 2025, financing of works from the federal budget in 2017-2020 will amount to 6.5 billion rubles. When implementing plans for the development of Veduchi in full, by 2025 the annual tourist flow should amount to 180 thousand people, the number of accommodation places should be 1 thousand, 719 jobs should be created. The full return of budget investments to the state budget should occur by 2041.
